Envision is a free OCR application that speaks out the visual world, designed to help people who are blind or have low vision to lead more independent lives. Developed for and with the blind community, the app focuses on being simple, effective, and providing a helpful assistive experience.
By using your phone's camera, Envision leverages smart artificial intelligence (AI) and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to scan and interpret your surroundings. It can read text, describe scenes, identify objects, people, and products, narrating everything back to you.
Envision offers a wide range of capabilities grouped into three main functions:

- Easily scan paper documents, whether single or multiple pages, with the assistance of audio-guided edge detection. The recognized content is spoken back to you and can be exported and edited.
