World Empire 2027 is a turn-based strategy war game set in a chaotic near-future. The year is 2027, world markets have collapsed, and old alliances are no longer relevant. With the world's major powers focused on internal crises, a power vacuum has emerged, leading to extreme tensions across the globe. In your chosen country, an uprising has overthrown the government, and as the leader of the rebellion, you have been granted unlimited authority to lead and rebuild.
Your goal is to become the supreme leader by transforming your nation into a world-spanning empire, both economically and militarily superior to all others. To achieve this, you must use every tool at your disposal, from careful diplomacy to all-out war. The game is a single-player experience where you will face off against a very smart Artificial Intelligence system designed to represent modern geopolitical events and the status of other nations.
You can choose to lead any of the 180 countries in the game. To build your empire, you will manage a complex web of systems, including your nation's economy, technology development, a spy center, and diplomatic relations through the United Nations. In the War Room, you can command a vast array of modern military units, including tanks, fighter jets, aircraft carriers, fighting robots, and even ballistic missiles. This is a deep strategic challenge that will test your leadership skills as you strive for global domination.

UFO Invasion: Global Catastrophe Mode
An alien force has invaded Earth. They have seized control of one nation and declared war on all of humanity. This extraterrestrial threat possesses superior technology and a formidable military, creating a high-stakes global crisis where players must unite with other nations or stand alone to save the world.
The UFO-controlled nation starts with maximum levels in key technologies such as Energy, Robotics, and Space. Their starting military power scales with the chosen difficulty.
If a nation is conquered by the UFOs, humanity has fallen and the game ends in defeat.
Ultimate Strategy Mode
Experience increased realism in warfare and economics with new strategic constraints:
- Realistic Production: Military production is no longer instant. Output is limited by a country's Military Industry and Army Upkeep technologies.
- Strategic Arms Trade: Purchasing weapons from other nations reduces their actual inventory. The global arms market is finite, so suppliers must be chosen carefully.
- No Easy Options: Local Military Industry and the Black Market are disabled. All arms must be procured internationally, with supply limits determined by difficulty and a restriction of one purchase order per turn.
- The Cost of Conflict: Monthly revenues for countries involved in a conflict are reduced to reflect the expense of war.
- Become an Arms Dealer: Selling units from inventory generates income; money is earned for every weapon sold to another nation.
Spectator Mode
Spectator Mode allows setting the stage for a global conflict and then observing as AI-driven nations vie for dominance. The player acts as an architect of the scenario rather than a commander: define rules such as AI aggression level, pass the turns, and watch empires rise and fall.
Zombie Mode Overhaul
A new, deadly, and aggressive virus has appeared in one country, turning its population into a zombie horde. The world faces the infected in a fight for survival.
The primary objective is to develop a cure before the pandemic consumes humanity. Chosen difficulty directly affects infection speed and the available time to research the cure.
Victory is achieved by surviving and developing a cure. If a nation falls, it becomes part of the zombie horde and the game is lost.
Presidential Elections Mode
Leadership is limited to a four-year term. After four years, the AI evaluates leadership performance and decides whether another term is allowed. Approval ratings change in response to actions, so maintaining public support is necessary to remain in power.
