Slay the Spire

Slay the Spire is a game that merges roguelike progression with deck-building card mechanics. You are challenged to ascend a towering, ever-changing monolith known as the Spire. To do so, you must choose a champion from one of four unique characters—the Ironclad, the Silent, the Defect, or the Watcher—and forge a legend in a world where strategy and a touch of luck are paramount.

Each journey up the Spire is a new adventure. The layout of the map differs every time, forcing you to choose between risky or safe paths. You will face different enemies, be offered different cards, discover different relics, and even fight different bosses on each attempt. The core of the gameplay is to build a powerful and synergistic deck of cards to efficiently dispatch foes and survive the climb to the top, where formidable guardians and the Spire Heart itself await.

The game is packed with content that ensures no two ascents are ever the same:

1. Dynamic Deck Building: Choose your cards wisely from a pool of over 350 fully implemented cards. Discover hundreds of options to add to your deck with each attempt, selecting cards that work together to create powerful combinations.
2. An Ever-Changing Spire: With a different layout each time, the Spire offers immense replayability. Your path, enemies, and rewards are always a surprise.
3. Powerful Relics to Discover: Over 200 different items known as relics can be found throughout your journey. These artifacts can greatly enhance your deck with powerful passive interactions, but beware, obtaining a relic may cost you more than just gold.
4. Unique Characters: Play as one of four characters, each with their own unique set of cards and distinct playstyle.
5. Varied Encounters: Face over 50 unique combat encounters and navigate over 50 mysterious events that can either help or harm your progress.
6. Additional Modes: Test your skills in Daily Climbs, where you can compare your performance with every other player in the world, or experiment with various run modifiers in the Custom Mode.
