Mohism Battle of Words is a unique detective visual novel set in the vibrant world of wuxia. You step into the shoes of Zhang Xiaochen, an orphaned youth taken in by a wise master and taught the Mohist ways. Unlike traditional wuxia heroes, Xiaochen knows absolutely no martial arts. Instead of fighting with swords, he must rely on his sharp wits and masterful rhetoric to investigate unsolved cases, outsmart his opponents in verbal battles, and ensure that justice ultimately prevails.

The game features a rich storyline divided into four interconnected cases that together weave a massive conspiracy. You will investigate a locked-room murder involving Tang Hechun at the Tang Keep, navigate dangerous internal conflicts, survive a deadly gathering at a remote shrine, and solve the bizarre death of Director Miao Xiang inside a heavily guarded headquarters. Key dialogues are fully voice-acted, requiring you to pay close attention to subtle shifts in tone to uncover hidden hints.

As you delve deeper into the mysteries, you will cross paths with memorable characters such as your master Zhu Yunsheng, the mischievous adventurer Wang You'er, and the cunning Deputy Director Xiong Antong. The gameplay revolves around entering the miraculous Rift to battle opponents with logic. You must brainstorm to connect pieces of evidence, identify fallacies to expose contradictions in your opponent's statements, and seamlessly reconstruct the events leading up to the crime to reveal the true culprit.
