Citizen of Rome

Citizen of Rome is a family and dynasty life simulation game set in the Roman Republic. It allows you to experience what life was like in ancient Rome, from participating in various customs, festivals, and sporting competitions to raising a family and climbing the social and economic hierarchy.

The game is open-ended, without a fixed endgame. A grand goal, as it was for any ambitious Roman family, is to achieve a Consulship of the Republic by climbing the political ladder known as the Cursus Honorum. However, the core philosophy is that there is no winning or losing, only experiencing life and its challenges. You'll face setbacks and may find your hard work undone in an instant, but the game has no "game-over." Life goes on, and when your character dies, you will usually continue playing as your eldest son, carrying on the family legacy.

The experience is designed to be engaging at every level, whether you're a commoner or a powerful senator, with different goals and challenges at each stage of life.

7. Accessibility and Options: The game includes screen reader support, a dark mode, and options for Easy and Sandbox modes for a more customized experience.
