A Better World Company is hiring, and they are looking for a skilled new recruit to alter the past and reshape the future! In this narrative-driven game, you take on the role of a Time Stream Manager. Your job is to use the company's powerful computer to travel back in time and make game-changing choices to improve the world—as long as you follow internal policies.
Using the most powerful time machine ever created, you can explore thousands of years in just a few seconds, ranging from the Jurassic period to Ancient Greece or the Space Race. Your assignments will require you to make critical decisions at key historical moments. Will you stop JFK from being assassinated? Will you send humanity to Mars instead of the moon? You must analyze the consequences of your actions to achieve the best possible outcome without causing a premature apocalypse.
Your performance is evaluated by the HR Team, giving you an employee score after each assignment. A high score allows you to climb the corporate ladder and access upper floors of the office building. The game encourages experimentation, allowing you to restart assignments to find better endings. You are guided by Globos, a cutting-edge virtual assistant designed to help you and tell jokes, replacing the need for human colleagues.
A Better World offers a flexible narrative where you decide how to achieve objectives, blending corporate satire with historical intervention. Importantly, the game is fully playable with a screen reader, ensuring an accessible experience for blind players.
